   Those who would choose atheism over faith have to realise: Atheism IS a faith. A belief that there are no Gods. It is very much as dogmatic as fundamentalist religion and thus subject to the opinions of people trying to make sense of their world. I have been an atheist and I choose faith over atheism because I believe there are Gods and we have souls that live on after our bodies have passed into history. But this is my belief. What is yours? I do believe that there are gods, more than just ours. Do I worship the others, no, but that doesn't deny their presence. I believe that we have souls or at least some "thing" that lives on when we are gone. Exactly what that "thing" is, I can't say but it's there. I think that a part of us can move on and become part of those that follow us. I don't think we pick up stray bits and pieces of folk other than our own line but that it stays in the blood line somewhere. I was never an athiest, I've always believed that there was at least a nebulous something out there. Now that I'm heathen, I'm more sure of what that thing or things are.
My brush with atheism lasted a mere matter of weeks before I started getting signals from the otherworld that yes, there is an otherworld. The problem is that there are HEathen Atheists. Folks that Beleive that the Regin are nothing more than Psychological Archtypes conforming to a Nordic platform. Personally, I don't "get it" but I ran into quite a few of them when I liven in California... Truth, Pat
